Altered all signup lists to include cancelled signups. They are also colored with a red semi-opaque background. Unfortunately because Events manager does not record the date the cancellation occurred, I cannot display that information without some major code rewriting of someone else’s plugin!
Created a student attendance page. While I had created the functions to take attendance of students on ushering and stage crew jobs, I had not yet created the page to view who did or did not complete their scholarship requirements. That page is now complete and accessible to all faculty.
Created a Recital Program page. This one is really cool. After selecting a recital program to view from a list of options, the recital information for that date is selected and presented in a form that looks almost exactly like a recital program. Unapproved signups are still visible but with less opacity. Being the instructor for the class an responsible for the programs, only I have the capability to reorder the program using drag and drop, but once I have the signups in order I can click a button to approve that order and anyone viewing the program will see if it has been approved or not. There is a separate CSS sheet for print styling, so simply printing the webpage will output what looks remarkably alike to the final programs we print. There is even a button to determine whether to include unapproved signups in that printing. Unfortunately, because we need to proofread and verify all data, the information must still be copied and pasted into a word document for final printing.
