Piano Grand II is the second annual show featuring five local pianists performing popular favorite and light classics. The show involves quite a bit of practice and rehearsal in preparation, and has proven to be one of the most popular concerts offered but he Artist Series of Sarasota.
The show was performed in the Sarasota opera House on October 7, 2017, a Saturday evening. This year featured some more challenging pieces from the orchestra repertoire, which involved more ensemble collaboration. This show brings a substantial amount of local fame to each performer, increasing the promotional value of their work, as well as their other relationships, including Mine with SCF.
